It is in the middle of town.
To get ready for the bicentennial, it was decided to reconstruct this
Revolutionary War fort.
The only original item is part of a hearth.
It is easily accessible, open to the public, free.
Interpreters provided information on the history of the fort.
They gave demonstrations of the brown-bess and flintlocks.
It was relatively cool in the barracks, and Leslie took a break.
