Cream Biscuits

Biscuits

November 8, 2009

America's Test Kitchen
had a video and recipe on making cream biscuits.

That's right - no butter or shortening -

It calls for heavy cream.
Here's my adaptation.

2 c All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 teaspoons baking powder.

Have everything chilled before you start.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Lightly put ingredients together.
Fold over a couple of times.
Cut into 9 pieces.

They were very light, and very delicious.
